Hello,
I see the following problems on multiple Windows 2008 (we use Windows 2008 SBS and Windows 2008 R2) guests:
- Time is not working correctly (the clock doesn't use the right speed, a difference of 2 hours/day is "normal")
- Ping isn't stable within the network (normally it is around 1ms or 2ms and sometimes it is around 100ms for one ping and after that it is normal again)
Everything else seems to work correctly. Below I've listed the configuration used on the host:
- Hardware:
-- 2x Six-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2425 HE
-- 32GB RAM
-- 2x 80GB harddisc (we use a separate storage system for the guests, we use iscsi for the storage)
- Software:
-- Ubuntu 9.10
-- uname -a: Linux bl02 2.6.31-14-server #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 15:07:34 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
-- qemu -version: QEMU PC emulator version 0.11.0 (qemu-kvm-0.11.0), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard
-- libvirtd --version: libvirtd (libvirt) 0.7.0
If more information is required: ask and I'll provide it (if technical possible).
What could be a solution?
Regards, Mark
